Multi-threaded Processing with Swoole

Greetings PHP Folks,

We've got an awesome talk lined up with our long-time user group member, John Fansler. He is presenting a cutting edge async framework for PHP called Swoole and how to do Multi-threaded Processing with it!

We will take a look into Swoole coroutines and how they allow PHP to compete with Golang and Node in a multi-threaded environment. Whether extending a standard PHP app on a traditional web server, or building new services that utilize socket programming (think WebSockets), Swoole stands to widen the scope of tasks that PHP is actually perfect for… Get ready to think about tasks in a whole new way!

You will leave with a deeper understanding of multi-threaded, asynchronous programming, and have some real-life examples to speed up file/image processing, socket communications, and asynchronous DB queries.
