Dinner at Community Kitchen
Details
Join us Wednesday, April 15th at Community Kitchen + Taproom for one of Austin's most beloved all-vegan comfort food spots, known for bold Southern flavors, hearty portions, and serious soul food energy.
Community Kitchen, formally known as Community Vegan, is Austin's go-to plant-based comfort food kitchen, started from a Winnebago and now settled into their brick-and-mortar home at 3110 Windsor Road in the heart of Tarrytown. Their focus? Comfort food done right. It's entirely plant-based, and made to satisfy.
If you love rich, smoky, crispy, soul-warming food and supporting local vegan businesses, this one's for you.
What to expect:
๐ Chick'n sliders (Lion's mane, hand-battered and fried until it's crisp and golden with seasoned fries)
๐ฅ The Summit (fried chik'n, baked mac & cheeze, slow-cooked collards, seasoned fries & cornbread)
๐ง Burnt Ends & Mac (slow-smoked burnt ends over house-baked mac & cheeze)
๐ Chopped Brisket Sliders (smoky, BBQ-sauced & stacked) ๐ฝ House-made Cornbread & Southern Collard Greens
This is the kind of place that satisfies longtime vegans and the veg-curious alike. Come hungry!
Please RSVP so we have a headcount and can let the restaurant know.
The restaurant is facing Windsor Road and located between Pak Mail and Austin Pets Alive. Parking is available in front of and behind the building.
