Join us for a Tara meditation and practice! πŸ’–

Buddha Tara is beloved by yogis and meditators the world over, and a very popular figure in Tibetan Buddhism. Meditating upon her and reciting her praises helps to awaken our own qualities of love, compassion, courage and wisdom.

Our session will typically include breathing meditation, a brief introduction to the practice, and Tara praises and mantras.
Anyone can pray and recite Tara mantras, if you feel drawn to her. You don't have to be Buddhist.

Things to Bring:

  • a yoga mat and cushion, if you prefer floor sitting. There's also couches to sit on.
  • Optional: a mala to count mantras

Note: This is at my house, and I have 3 friendly, indoor dogs.
