EATER New York states: "For spicy Sichuan fit for vegans: Getting Sichuan food as a non-meat-eater can sometimes be frustrating, given that many of the cuisine’s staple dishes almost always include meat. But at Sichuan restaurant Spicy Moon, nothing is off limits. Aside from the “Beyond Beef” in the dan dan noodles and a few other items, the dishes focus on actual vegetables and tofu, rather than faux meat replacements. The three-cup mixed vegetables include flavorful cauliflower, broccoli, and peppers; Brussels sprouts feature numbing Sichuan peppercorns, and vegetable wontons come floating in an actually spicy chili oil..".

GOOGLE REVIEW - 4.5/5 stars
A couple of fans reviewed as follows..

Desiré F - "Visited Spicy Moon in Bowery with my cousins to have a great vegan Chinese meal and let me say that’s exactly what we did. The food was absolutely delicious. Our fav was the chopped cheese spring rolls and the vegetable lo mein. Just thinking about it makes me crave it!
I would definitely come again for the food. It was amazing. If you order all together, they would legit bring you everything at the same time. Which can be a little overwhelming. So if you want to enjoy certain apps first and then your main. Order in sections. Would definitely eat there again!"

Juhi - "Loved everything about this place. The vibes, the service, the ambience, and of course, the food! We enjoyed everything we ordered but absolutely loved the Dan Dan noodles, wantons, cumin fries, string beans and mapo tofu."

For our new members: this is an incredibly friendly and welcoming group. We are a FUN group. Join us to bring in 2025 with full joy and fellow vegetarians and vegans.

Everyone pays for themselves. And Spicy Moon at Bowery takes major credit cards. Easy!
