NO KINGS Nationwide Mass Protest - Bryant Park / 5th Avenue March, NYC

Saturday, June 14th is Donald Trump's 79th birthday. It also happens to be the day he has planned a massive Russian-style military parade with tanks, armored personnel carriers, military aircraft and other military equipment rumbling down the streets of Washington, DC.

BUT Saturday, June 14, 2025 will ALSO be a day of nationwide Mass Mobilization and Protests against the reckless demolition of our constitutional government and the destruction of our traditional American values of democracy and rule of law. This is not a liberal/conservative issue. The Founding Fathers would be rolling over in their graves over the destruction of our democracy.

In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings. NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies.

🚨**On Saturday, June 14, we’re taking to the streets nationwide. We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind.**🚨

The flag doesn’t belong to Donald Trump. It belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

Optional Meeting Point: You can just join the protest on your own, you don't have to march with other meetup members. But for those who want to arrive early and march together, we will meet at 1:30pm in front of the Whole Foods Market at 1095 6th Avenue, between 41st & 42nd Streets, across the street from Bryant Park. We will meet in front of (outside of) the front doors to the store, and I will hold up a VEG MEETUP sign. We will wait in front of the Whole Foods for 10 minutes only, until 1:40pm, and then walk across the street to Bryant Park. If you want to meet us, don't be late, and you may want to plan to be early due to large crowds and delayed travel time.
