Central Park Vegan Picnic - Meet at Columbus Circle

Come join us for a beautiful summer evening picnic in Central Park!

Meeting Place and Time: To join with our group, please arrive right on time at 7:00pm at the Maine Monument (also known as the USS Maine Monument) right on the corner of the Central Park block (see photo above). It is right on the corner of Central Park South and Central Park West. (Central Park South is 59th Street, and Central Park West is 8th Avenue. So another name for this corner is 59th Street and 8th Avenue.) (It is NOT the monument in the middle of the actual circle of Columbus Circle. It is on the corner of Central Park. You can Google it.) You will see the Maine Monument easily and our group will be standing in front of it.

Schedule for our Meetup, Picnic Dinner, and Afterparty:

7:00pm - 7:15pm: Meet in front of the USS Maine Monument - Don't be late!

7:15pm: We'll walk over to the picnic spot on the grass nearby with the group, and have our picnic dinner. Bring your own vegan food and drink - All food must be vegan, even if you yourself are not 100% vegan. Also, we do not recommend sharing food. This is not a food sharing picnic, just bring enough food for yourself. If you do share food, keep in mind that not everyone has the same level of dietary restrictions. Bring your own beverage or water. Dress comfortably and stay hydrated.

8:45pm or 9:00pm: After our picnic dinner meetup is over, we will leave for an afterparty. It will be after our meetup picnic dinner has ended, and you are welcome to join us.

TRAIN DIRECTIONS: Take the 1, A , B, C or D Trains to the 59 St-Columbus Circle Subway Station. Our Central Park (USS Maine Monument) meeting location, at the corner of Central Park South and Central Park West (which is the same as the corner of 59th Street and 8th Avenue.) is right at the subway, depending on which exit you take from the train station. The meetup location is directly on Columbus Circle, across the street from the Circle itself, on the Central Park corner of the circle road. We are meeting at the corner of Central Park itself, in front of the USS Maine Monument.
