Hanukkah Outdoor Party at Hummus Bodega w Free Rasberry or Strawberry Donuts
Details
Repeat event from last year.
We had over 10 people show up but we had problems finding each other.
This will be an outdoor event spilling onto the sidewalk. Towards the end for those for stayed up late, we finally got a table (not enough tables of course) and I found out my friend was a VEGAN JEW. I hope he shows up again. You might meet Dr. Dreidel., who's a fun person. I had a great time, that's why I'm planning it again.
Dress warm. 90% of the food is vegan friendly. I recommend the vegan split pea soup $7/$9 (of course get large for $2 more)(might not be posted on the menu) and their delicious VEGAN Tahini desserts, $4 each. You can order online so you don't have to wait in line for 20 min. YOu can hang out with us and chit chat.
Free vegan donuts for anyone who shows up. might come after 6:30pm, not sure.. If you know you will be late, find someone to save you a donut. Limited quantities and free.
The event officially starts at 5:30pm, but I'm posting the event at 6pm.
around 7. there's the official lighting of the menorah and 2 Rabbis singing Jewish song. There will be a DJ. All times guessed by me. I'll try to find the exact time... ...
The event ends at 8pm, but might open later.
