VegCF First Monday Vegan Potluck

Needs a location

Please join us the first Monday of every month for a vegan potluck! Everyone is invited! This is a GREAT way to introduce your veg-curious friends to the delights of homemade vegan cuisine. Join us with a covered vegan dish in the community room (library) of the First Unitarian Church of Orlando. There is no cost if you take a dish, but we ask for a $10 donation if you do not take a dish.

Please take a complete ingredient list (and the recipe instructions if you care to share them), and please be sure that your dish is vegan (no animal products or byproducts). If you know what you plan to make, please list it in your RSVP, so we can plan for a good variety of food.

Central Florida Veg Fest!

Needs a location

Central Florida Veg Fest is back--bigger and better than ever! It will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at beautiful Orlando Festival Park. The first Veg Fest took place at Lake Lily in Maitland in 2005, and the second through sixth at Loch Haven Park from 2007 to 2011. This is the eleventh year at Orlando Festival Park. The return of this extremely successful event has been eagerly anticipated!

The event will include healthy living and eco-friendly exhibitors, speakers, and presentations; non-profits; fun and games for kids; dog and cat adoptions; restaurant booths; food preparation demonstrations, and live music and entertainment. Central Florida Veg Fest will draw both committed vegans and those who want to learn more about how to protect our health, the planet, and its inhabitants. You can promote your business or group to thousands of people who want to learn more about veganism and the varied products and services that support a veg-friendly and an eco-friendly way of life. All money raised will be used for local vegan education and outreach.

The event is free! Parking for attendees is $5 per vehicle at the west side of Festival Park. From N. Primrose Drive, head east on E. Livingston Street to the parking entrance at the midpoint of the park on the right. Please carpool or ride your bike to the free bike valet off Festival Way.
For more information visit www.CFVegFest.org. This website will be updated as additional sponsors, vendors, restaurants, speakers, musicians, etc. are added. Please check back often for all the exciting changes! If you are interested in vending, please go to the Vendor Packet page of the website. If you are interested in volunteering, please go to the Volunteer page of the website.
