Welcome to Ventura County Foodie Friends—a community for people who enjoy discovering local restaurants, sharing a good meal, and meeting new people along the way.

I’m Susan Abbott, founder of Ventura County Restaurant Week and Know My Menu. I created this group as a way to bring people together around Ventura County’s diverse restaurant community—and to learn what local diners want to explore, experience, and see from Restaurant Week in the future.

We’ll meet at restaurants throughout the county, from longtime favorites to places you may not have discovered yet. Some gatherings will feature Ventura County Restaurant Week menus, while others may include happy hours, menu previews, special events, and casual meals together.

Come on your own, bring a friend, or invite someone you’ve been meaning to reconnect with. You don’t need to be a food expert—just curious, welcoming, and interested in supporting local restaurants.

Unless otherwise noted, each guest will order and pay for their own food and beverages directly through the restaurant.
