Many of our members (myself included) came to the group trying to break "Nice Guy" syndrome. I must say, it is ongoing work for me.

Whether you've read Robert Glover's book No More Mr. Nice Guy or not, we'll look at the core idea: that "nice guy" behavior is often less about kindness and more about hiding, people-pleasing, and avoiding conflict. Then we'll bring it into our actual lives: our relationships, how we show up with women, and what it means to be a man right now.

Here are 3 things to think about ahead of the meeting:

  1. Where in your life are you being "nice" when you actually mean (or are pretending to be) something else?
  2. How has the nice guy pattern shaped the way you date or show up in your relationships?
  3. How do you work to grow your awareness of your nice guy parts? The ones that want to be of value and of service? How do you work to improve these patterns?

We'll spend about an hour on the topic and the rest of the time on open share.

Let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Thanks and see you soon,
~Matty
