Come celebrate the up and coming Humanist Community of Ventura County in the beautiful outdoors! Mingle with like-minded individuals over coffee and snacks, learn about the Humanist Community and share your ideas. Discuss the latest news and happenings. Get fresh perspective from friends.

We are hosting our popular Sunday Brunch in the Park. The "Sunday Brunch in the Park" potluck is for all non-theists in Ventura County area, established due to the incredible response at the Wednesday night discussion groups and other events; we want to offer a family-friendly community activity in lieu of the traditional Sunday church.

RSVP if you're interested in meeting dozens of like minded people in a fun park setting. Bring your friends and family :)

• Playground for children

• Please bring sporting equipment if you have it (ie, basketball, soccer ball, volleyball...etc).

• If you play guitar or some other musical instrument to lead us in song, bring it!

• Biking, soccer, tennis, volleyball, walking are immediately available. So if you are planning an early morning run or ride, this is a good rallying point afterwards.

• Restrooms and sinks are on site.

(Well behaved pets on a leash are welcomed)

Free coffee and tea and some morning snacks will be provided by our group (help to reduce disposable waste & bring your reusable mug or tea cup).

It's Potluck: Feel free to bring your favorite, easy to serve brunch-style entree. During the last brunch we had a beautiful spread and we hope to replicate that every month. Please post what items you're planning to bring so we can avoid doubling-up.

For Future

The first Sunday of every month we have scheduled "Sunday Brunch in the Park" for the Humanist Community of Ventura County. The event offers a welcoming, fun, and energizing weekend activity for the many in our area who enjoy engaging in group activities outdoors on Sunday morning, including optional hikes, sports, or lazing in the shade. Please join us, feel free to share your ideas, and invigorate our amazing growing community. See you there!
