Hi VH,
Please see below from Michael who organizes the MBA Entrepreneurship club at Georgetown.  Would anyone in NYC working in venture be able to host students on a career trek next Thurs or Friday (10/31 - 11/1)?

Thanks!

Hi Joe,

Hope this finds you well. As Sherief may have mentioned when we were first introduced, I run the MBA Entrepreneurship Club at Georgetown. One of the major events on our club calendar this year is a career trek—a chance for students to visit and speak with a selection of organizations from across the spectrum of the startup ecosystem.

Though we were initially shooting for just DC, a number of students have since expressed interest in a New York component and so the team and I are exploring opportunities. Given it's now quite last-minute I wouldn't expect anything, but might you be open to offering us a little of your time for a visit and/or conversation? If all goes well there will be a small group of students in NYC between midday on Thursday 10/31 and close of business on Friday 11/1. It wouldn't necessarily have to mean an IDEO visit, perhaps you might also have some other connections you could facilitate through Venturing Hoyas? (Ellie Wheeler was suggested, for example, and I don't have her details.) Also, we'll likely join up with the finance club for informal alumni networking drinks on Thursday evening from 7, so that's another chance to get involved.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Best wishes

Michael
