Cool off with a Picnic lunch at Griffith’s Spring in the Pines

Thursday is calling for a hot day in the verde valley. Let’s go up to the pines at the top of Oak Creek Canyon to cool off.

Griffith’s Spring is a peaceful setting in a pondersa pine forest. There is a picnic table and a outhouse on site. There is also a nice mile loop walking trail that some may wish to hike after lunch.

I plan to stop at Indian gardens to pick up my lunch.
