What we’re about
This group is for Veterinary Professionals (Both Veterinarians and Veterinary Nurses).
Our profession throws us many challenges - both fabulous and not so fabulous.
We enter it for the science, for the common love of all creatures great and small.
What we don't realise is that with time, there are rifts in this goal, this vision, our relationship with the profession and with each other.
It is time we looked out for each other. It is time we looked after ourselves and our own well-being.
The aim of this group is to form a community outside of work.
A safe place to get out and make friends over a hike, a camp, cuppa or a movie or a CPD event.
We are starting with North Queensland, but slowly over the coming months, through various volunteers, we hope to reach every single vet and vet nurse that needs a community. We want to be there for you.
