A typical open training session takes place on our grass, floodlit, pitch, and will consist of learning and practising essential rugby skills such as ball handling, running, and tackling, and will often end with a friendly game of 'touch' (no contact/big tackles).
Our experienced coaches break these elements down into easy and safe steps, making trying something new fun and rewarding for all skill levels.
We recommend wearing studded football or hockey boots for grip on the turf, but (trail) running shoes are perfectly fine if you don't have access to boots.
A mouthguard is strongly recommended for safety in contact (mouthguards are available for a small price from the clubhouse)
