What we're about

The Virginia Happy Trails Running Club is composed of people who like to run on dirt trails. Though based in northern Virginia, most club members live within the metropolitan DC area, with several others scattered in many other states. The club members are of varying running abilities and ages. Many run ultramarathons, but some don't run at all. The VHTRC holds regular Sunday runs in and around the Rock Creek Park trails in Washington, DC, as well as at Great Falls National Park in Virginia, and also holds runs of varying distances elsewhere in DC, Maryland and Virginia. Details on regularly scheduled training runs will be posted here, as well as on the VHTRC site: http://www.vhtrc.org/news/trainingList We hope to see you at a run soon ... happy trails!

Distances typically vary from 3 miles up to 10 miles pending time of season and who is running that evening. PACE: Open to all paces - again not everyone runs at the same pace, so we will try to split up into groups the best we can. Make sure to be properly hydrated!** FOR MORE INFORMATION: Visit https://www.facebook.com/groups/dccswolfpack/ DISCLAIMER: This run is open to all runners, however you should have some experience with trail running. There may be times where you may be running by yourself and we can't always guarantee you will have a runner near you running with you. Remember, it's Trail running! We will certainly make sure you understand the course as best we can provide before you get started. RUN LEADER: Tom M. and/or Rick A.
