Museum Sunday:"I Could Paint This Too" (Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna)

Modern art has a way of making people uncomfortable, confused, or a little defensive — often all three within the same room. This session leans into that instead of smoothing it over.
Instead of asking "what does this mean," we'll try "what is this doing to me right now" — a much more honest question, and one that doesn't require knowing anything about the artist.

Bring something you've been carrying around lately — a decision you're stuck on, a creative block, a problem with no obvious shape yet. We'll use the art almost like a conversation partner. Not because the paintings have answers, but because they're surprisingly good at helping you ask better questions. We'll move between looking alone, talking in pairs, and group conversation.
No promises of clarity by the end — if anything, expect to leave with better questions than you came with.

How this works:

We meet at 16:00 right at the entrance — a few minutes to say hi and set expectations for the afternoon. At 16:15 we go in together and spend about 45 minutes with the works, moving as a group, with space to talk as we go. Around 17:00 you get 15 minutes on your own — bathroom, one more look at something that caught your eye. At 17:15 we head out to a lovely place Caffè delle Arti (exact place - to be confirmed), for about an hour of drinks and reflection — unpacking what came up, comparing notes, actually talking through the paintings, the artists, the history. Total time: about 2.5 hours, start to finish.
