Welcome to VibeCode JAX, a fresh, innovative meetup connecting the "VibeCoding" scene in Jacksonville! I'm Fred Marks, Jacksonville native and Bolles School graduate, I want to bring together the VibeCoding community to Jacksonville! This group is all about connecting, and spreading knowledge of VibeCoding from experienced to newbies, we are coming together to learn, grow and have tons of fun! AI VibeCoding platforms we will live demo + hands-on build: Google’s AI Studio, Replit, Claude Code, Lovable, Bubble, Bolt, v0, Wabi, Anywhere, etc.
What we host
- Adults 18+ Vibe Coding Workshops (weeknights; beginner‑friendly)
- Family Vibe Coding Labs (targeted to parents/guardians 18+; minors may attend only with an accompanying parent/guardian)
How it works
- We build real mini‑projects together (workable web apps, mobile apps, games, small automations, prototypes)
- No experience required — bring a laptop + charger
- We post recaps + templates on vibecodejax.com so you can keep building between sessions
Just a few housekeeping items, notably Safety + supervision (required)
- Family Labs are not drop‑off childcare
- A parent/guardian must attend and supervise the entire time
