Camping doesn't have to be rough to be an adventure!
Join Goombay Adventurers for our 2026 Fall Glampout, a relaxing, fun-filled weekend designed for people who love the outdoors, great company, and the simple pleasures of camping without all the hustle and bustle.
This isn't about roughing it in the wilderness or packing your weekend with nonstop activities. It's about slowing down, enjoying the beautiful fall surroundings, sharing laughs around the campfire, and spending quality time with old friends while making new ones.
Whether you're a seasoned camper or someone who hasn't pitched a tent in years, our Fall Glampout offers the perfect mix of outdoor adventure, comfort, relaxation, and social fun!

Dates: Friday, November 13 – Sunday, November 15, 2026
Location: Prince William Forest Park, Triangle, VA
Campsites: Group Sites G, H & I
Cost: $65 per camper
Check-In: Friday, November 13, beginning at 3:00 PM
Check-Out: Sunday, November 15, by 11:00 AM

### WHAT TO EXPECT

🔥 Cozy Campfires & Great Conversations
Pull up your camping chair, relax around the fire, and enjoy an evening filled with laughter, storytelling, music, and meaningful conversations. Some of the best Goombay memories happen around the campfire!
🍫 S'mores & Hot Apple Cider
Enjoy classic fall treats as we roast marshmallows, make delicious s'mores, and sip warm apple cider while enjoying the cool November evenings.
🥾 Scenic Fall Hiking
Stretch your legs and explore the beautiful wooded trails of Prince William Forest Park. Enjoy a group hike, take in the autumn scenery, and appreciate the peacefulness of nature.
🎲 Games, Laughter & Social Fun
We'll have fun group games, icebreakers, and plenty of opportunities to socialize. Whether you're feeling competitive or just want to sit back and watch the fun, there's something for everyone.
☕ Slow Mornings & Relaxation
Wake up to the sounds of nature, enjoy a hot cup of coffee, prepare breakfast at your own pace, and relax. Read a book, take a walk, or simply do absolutely nothing. It's your weekend to unwind!

### CAMPING WITH A FEW COMFORTS!

We want everyone to enjoy the outdoor experience without feeling like they're roughing it.
Our group camping area offers several conveniences to make your weekend more comfortable:

• Heated Bathhouse: Access to a heated bathhouse for added comfort during chilly November mornings and evenings.
• Running Water: Water is available at the campground.
• Convenient Parking: Vehicles can park right next to the campsites, making unloading and setting up your camping equipment easy.
• Firewood Provided: Goombay will provide firewood to keep our group campfires going throughout the weekend.
• Group Camping Atmosphere: We'll be camping together at Group Sites G, H & I, creating a welcoming, community-style camping experience.

You bring your tent and personal comforts. We'll help create the atmosphere for a memorable fall weekend!

### WHAT CAMPERS NEED TO BRING

Each camper is responsible for providing their own:

• Tent and camping equipment
• Sleeping bag, blankets, and comfortable sleeping pad or air mattress
• Food, snacks, and beverages for the weekend
• Camp stove, cooking equipment, cookware, and utensils
• Camping chair
• Warm clothing, jackets, and comfortable hiking shoes
• Flashlight or headlamp
• Personal toiletries and supplies
• Transportation to and from the campground

Please Note: Meals, tents, cooking equipment, and transportation are not included in the registration fee.

# OptOutside Black Friday Collaborative Hike 2026

Join us for the 9th Annual #OptOutside Black Friday Collaborative Hike, a DMV tradition where our outdoor community comes together the day after Thanksgiving to celebrate nature, wellness, and gratitude.

📅 Date: Friday, November 27, 2026
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM (check-in opens at 10:00AM)
📍 Location: Cosca Regional Park-10927 Thrift Rd. Clinton, MD 20735
*We will meet in the 2 large parking lots above the playground.

### Post-Hike Meet & Greet

After the hike, join us for food, drinks, and fellowship at Mix & Mingle Coffee Lounge, located just a few minutes away at: 8923 Woodyard Rd. Clinton, MD 20735
Relax, grab a bite and a drink, and connect with fellow hikers from across the DMV!

### What to Bring

• Comfortable hiking shoes and layered clothing
• Water and a light snack
• Optional: trekking poles, refillable mug for warm drinks

• Family-friendly and beginner-friendly
• Trails may be leaf-covered—watch your step!
• Hike is rain or shine (severe weather cancels)
• Kids are allowed
