Goombay Hike & Hang-Summer 2023
"Sometimes you just need to hang in the woods and recharge"

Thursday, July 27th | 6:30pm-9:00pm
Rock Creek Park | 5200 Glover Rd. NW DC
(meet in the parking lot next to the park Nature Center)

This is just not your regular hike... this hike is focused on relaxing in the woods, in a hammock, during the twilight hour.
The Western Ridge Trail Northern Section is a moderately trafficked trail located in the heart of Rock Creek Park. This is a Beginner/Intermediate level trail with flat terrain and rolling hills. The terrain is mostly flat with rolling hills and one creek crossing. This trail is between 3 miles in length (out and back).

**To sign up for this free hike, go to www.Goombay.net**

HAMMOCKS:
You may bring your own hammock to hang or rent one from Goombay for only $10 (while supplies last) and we will assist you with setting it up. During the hang, hikers can relax, nap, read, listen to music or just commune with nature. This is your time to experience hammock hanging in nature.
