# 🍂 Goombay Fall Hike in Virginia

Join Goombay Adventurers on Saturday, November 14, 2026, for a refreshing fall adventure through the beautiful wooded trails of Prince William Forest Park in Triangle, Virginia!
This hike is extra special because our day hikers will be joining our Goombay Fall Glampout campers, who will be spending the weekend camping in the park! It's a great opportunity to bring our hiking and camping communities together for a morning of outdoor adventure, fitness, fellowship, and fun.
As the fall season winds down, we'll explore scenic forest trails, enjoy the crisp autumn air, and share great conversations with fellow outdoor enthusiasts.
Our 4–5 mile intermediate hike features rolling hills, wooded paths, and several steep inclines that will provide a rewarding challenge. Hikers should be comfortable navigating uneven terrain and moderate elevation changes.
Whether you're camping for the weekend or joining us just for the day, come enjoy another memorable Goombay outdoor experience!

### A HIKE & CAMPING EXPERIENCE

Our Goombay Fall Glampout campers will already be enjoying a weekend of camping, campfires, and outdoor fellowship at Prince William Forest Park from November 13–15.
On Saturday morning, registered day hikers will join our weekend campers for one big group hike! It's a chance to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new outdoor enthusiasts, and experience the Goombay community at its best.
You do not have to be camping to participate in the hike!

### WHAT TO BRING

• Comfortable hiking shoes or boots with good traction
• Plenty of water and light snacks
• Weather-appropriate clothing and layers
• A small backpack for personal items
• Your adventurous spirit!

### REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Advance registration is encouraged so we can plan accordingly.
Please arrive by 9:30 AM for check-in and be prepared to begin hiking promptly at 10:15 AM.
Important: Prince William Forest Park charges an entrance fee. Participants should check current park entrance requirements before arriving. The exact meeting location within the park will be provided separately.
