Join Vibe Tribe Adventures on May 9 for an unforgettable alpine experience in Rocky Mountain National Park as we take on the iconic Sky Pond via Glacier Gorge trail.
This is one of Colorado’s most breathtaking hikes—featuring cascading waterfalls, crystal-clear alpine lakes, and panoramic mountain views that make every step worth it.
### 🥾 Adventure Details
- Distance: 8.7 miles (out & back)
- Elevation Gain: 1,865 ft
- Difficulty: Hard / Advanced
- Trailhead: Glacier Gorge (RMNP)
This is a challenging, high-elevation hike best suited for experienced hikers or those ready to push themselves. Expect steady elevation gain, rocky terrain, and possible snow or icy conditions in May.
### 📍 Meeting Details
Final meeting time and central meetup location will be shared closer to the hike date based on participant locations.
### 🎟️ Park Entry
- Timed entry reservation: Not required
- Park entrance fee: $30 per vehicle (or annual pass)
### 🎒 What to Bring
- 2–3 liters of water
- Snacks + lunch
- Hiking boots or trail shoes
- Layers (including a warm and waterproof layer)
- Hat, gloves, sunglasses, sunscreen
Recommended:
- Microspikes (snow/ice possible)
- Trekking poles
### ⚠️ Important Notes
- This is a full-day hike at high elevation
- Weather conditions can change quickly
- Light scrambling may be required near waterfalls
- Come prepared and ready for a physically demanding adventure

- All participants must sign the Vibe Tribe Adventures waiver annually
