Victor Hiking Trails Meetup

We’ll meet at the library at 9:15 am. We’ll decide where we will hike at the library. It will be 2-3 miles at an easy pace. If you want, you can join the group for refreshments and socializing after the hike.

We’ll be checking on the natives that we planted and removing some small patches of invasives.

This is a small project working with hand clippers & hand tools.

Wear sturdy shoes or waterproof boots.

Bring gardening gloves and garden tools if you have them.

Attendees may use the service road and park near the pond.

After we finish we’ll get refreshments at a local cafe.

VHT is part of a monthly meeting at the Victor Town Hall where various organization & governmental entities exchange information about what is happening in the future. The VHT representative would provide information about upcoming event, i.e. hikes, etc. and bring back information that would be important for VHT to know.

This will be a 5-6 mile hike on the trails at Ontario County Park. There will be plenty of hills in the woods at a moderate pace. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy hiking boots and bring water to stay hydrated.
Meet at the rear parking lot at Victor Town Hall, 85 East Main Street at 9:00 AM to carpool to the trailhead. Or meet at the Jumpoff parking lot in the park at 9:40 AM.
After the hike join the group at a local restaurant for lunch.

The meeting starts at 6:30pm in the Veteran's conference room on the 2nd floor of the Victor Town Hall and the public is invited to attend. Coming to a meeting is a great way to learn about the organization and how things are planned. Message us here if you would like to attend virtually and you will get a number to call at the time of the meeting.

Victor Village Trustee Bob Kelly will lead a tour of Victor Village Cemetery, with a special focus on gravestone rubbing. Instructions, materials, and supplies will be provided. This cemetery is located on Main Street behind the Methodist Church.
