Extra Hike - Ontario Pathways starting at the Phelps Trailhead

This is a hike that Chauncy is leading for GVHC. Since there is low attendance from that group he is opening it to VHT.

Hike Name: Ontario Pathways Phelps NY End Along Flint Creek.
Hike Date: Saturday August 2, 8 a.m.
Difficulty/Terrain: Moderate. Faster Pace.
Distance: 4-6 miles.
Where to Park/Meet: We will meet at 8 a.m. in the Village of Victor parking area, 60 East Main Street, Victor and carpool from there. (Click on "map" for location and directions).
Chauncy will plan on hiking starting at 8:30 am from the trailhead.
Hike Leader: Chauncy Y 455-1932.
Other Notes/Comments: This trail is flat except for some meanders down to the creek as it is an old railroad bed.
Using the Village parking lot affords us the opportunity to use facilities and/or get coffee before the hike at Busy Beans, which is in the lower level of 10 East Main. For those that want to meet at the trailhead, the GPS coordinates are 42° 57' 42" N 77° 5' 28" W which is approximately ¼ mile east of the Byrne Dairy located at 2067 State Route 96, Phelps.
