Community Wellness Walk

Langford Lake – Ed Nixon Trail (meet outside Westhills YMCA main entrance).

Join for a gentle, nature‑based walk designed to help us slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the calming effects of being outdoors. This isn’t a fitness walk — it’s a relaxed, community‑oriented walk with optional mindfulness moments and space to simply be in nature together.

What to Expect

  • Easy, slow‑paced forest walk
  • I will offer optional grounding and mindfulness activities
  • A welcoming space to connect with yourself, nature, and others

About Me

I’m a local therapist with a background in somatic therapy. This walk is rooted in my belief in the healing power of nature, movement, and human connection. Don’t we all need a little more of this right now?!

(Please note: This is not therapy or a substitute for individualized mental health support.)

Details

We’ll walk a portion of the Ed Nixon Trail, starting at the YMCA, to Scout’s Point and back. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Free parking and bus access available.

This is my first time offering this walk, and I’m excited to share it with whoever feels called to join!
