# Dance Victoria's last performance of the season, Boca Tuya.

We can meet at 6:30pm to catch the pre-show talk in the lobby that starts at 6:45pm, then maybe have a drink and pre-show visit, and make our way to our seats. The performance itself begins at 7:30pm. If we want to sit together we will have to coordinate via messenger to purchase our tickets at the same time so that we can get side by side tickets. But if we can't get seats side by side we will meet up at intermission to chat in the lobby!
I will be purchasing the least expensive ticket option which I think is in the $50 range seated in the upper balcony.

Here's the official event description, and link to the site: https://dancevictoria.com/performance/boca-tuya/
Led by visionary Puerto Rican choreographer Omar Román de Jesús, Boca Tuya features some of New York’s top movement artists. The company crafts immersive dreamscapes that blend vibrant cadence, surrealist narratives, and unforgettable characters. Boca Tuya empowers artists to live fully in their artistry while cultivating authenticity, equity, and innovation with a distinct Boricua (Puerto Rican) heartbeat. Boca Tuya’s mixed program features the beautifully intricate and sincere dance works Los Perros del Barrio Colosal, Like Those Playground Kids at Midnight, and Caress Them in a Way that Hurts a Little.

> Omar’s work imaginatively layers a powerful movement vocabulary with emotional complexity.
