I’ve found that hitting the iron and then hitting the sauna is an incredible way to de-stress and build much more meaningful connections than standard small talk. If you find working out alone a bit tedious, this is a solid way for us all to stay fit and healthy while making the "boring" parts of exercise way more fun.

### The Game Plan

We are keeping things simple, structured, and easy to follow:

  • 4:00 PM – Meet & Lift: We’ll meet in the weight room and hit the iron. Whether you are following your own program or want a spotter, we'll get a solid 1-hour workout in.
  • 5:00 PM – Sweat & Swim: We will transition to the pool area. You have 20 minutes to bake in the sauna, do some light laps in the pool, or just relax in the water.
  • 5:20 PM – 5:30 PM – Wrap Up: Time to hit the showers, change, and head out feeling refreshed and energized for the rest of the evening.

  • Location: Oak Bay Recreation Centre (1975 Bee St)
  • Time: 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM
  • What to Bring: Gym clothes, indoor workout shoes, a swimsuit, a towel, a water bottle, and a lock for your locker.
