Looking for a break from the daily grind? Welcome to the Dunedin-Palm Harbor Video Game Book Club, a laid-back community for gamers who want to unwind and connect through the immersive world of single-player games. Each month, we select a game that everyone can enjoy at their own pace, and at the end of the month, we meet up in person at local spots—whether it's a laid-back brewery, a cozy coffee shop, or a scenic park.
Our group is geared toward a mature crowd, especially those in their late 20s to 30s who are looking for a fun, low-pressure way to escape from the routine of the 9-to-5. Whether you're a lifelong gamer or just getting back into it, this is a space to chat, share experiences, and explore the art of gaming with like-minded people.
As the group grows, we're planning to launch a Discord server for more ongoing conversations, game recommendations, and staying connected between meetups. If you're ready to relax, dive into a great game, and enjoy some great company, we’d love to have you!

Our DiscordAs autumn turns cold and the October fog lingers past Halloween, a sinister haze rolls into town to mark a major milestone. Two years ago, our game club gathered for its very first meetup. Now, to celebrate our two-year anniversary, we are returning to where it all began—stepping back through the threshold of Reboot to face the unsettling, flower-choked horrors of Silent Hill f.
The Game: Silent Hill f
The Nightmare: Departing from the traditional American town setting, Silent Hill f transports players to 1960s rural Japan. You follow high school student Hinako as her village of Ebisugaoka is swallowed by a thick, oppressive fog and gruesome, flower-like body horror. Written by acclaimed visual novel author Ryukishi07, it blends psychological dread, Japanese folklore, and claustrophobic survival horror.
How Long It Takes: A standard playthrough of the main story runs 10 to 12 hours. However, for those brave enough to uncover all of its secrets, the game features 5 distinct endings that push total completion time to 35–50+ hours.
Platforms & Price: Available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Standard digital retail is 69.99, though physical copies and store sales often bring it down around 40–$50.
