This Month’s Game: Dispatch
The Premise:
Imagine a superhero story where you aren’t the guy punching the bad guy—you’re the guy in the chair telling him where to punch. You play as Robert Robertson (aka Mecha Man), a hero who loses his suit and is forced to take a desk job. The gameplay is a mix of Telltale-style narrative choices and a "dispatch" management sim where you have to coordinate a dysfunctional team of misfit heroes. It’s funny, stressful, and genuinely feels like playing through a season of a prestige TV show.
The Voice Cast is Stacked: The acting is incredible, featuring huge names like Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) as the lead, plus Laura Bailey, Travis Willingham, and Jeffrey Wright.
Streamer Cameos: If you follow streaming culture, you'll catch cameos from Jacksepticeye and (Tampa's own) MoistCr1TiKaL voicing characters in the squad.
Play or Watch: Because it’s a narrative game, if you don't have time to play it yourself, watching a playthrough is a perfectly valid way to prepare! The game actually has Twitch integration that lets audiences vote on choices, so watching your favorite streamer play it is almost a game in itself. Or just catch it on YouTube on your own time.
