Hey everyone! For our next game club session, we’re diving into Sea of Stars.
If you haven't seen it yet, it’s a gorgeous, "modern-retro" RPG that feels like a love letter to the classics we grew up with. Think Chrono Trigger meets Super Mario RPG—it’s got that nostalgic 16-bit pixel art style, but with much smoother movement and a really fun "timed-hit" combat system that keeps you on your toes.
The story follows two Children of the Solstice who combine Sun and Moon magic to fight off monsters. It’s super vibrant, the soundtrack is incredible, and the best part: no boring level grinding required.

When: Sunday, April 12th @ 2:00 PM
Where: HOB Brewery, Dunedin
Food: They’ll have food trucks on-site, so come hungry!
Game Price: Usually between 20–35.
Game Platforms: You can find it on PC, Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox.
