Hades! August Game Discussion!

Hey everyone! 🎮
For the month of August, our gaming club is diving headfirst into the underworld with the absolute masterpiece that is Hades!
It is widely considered one of the best roguelikes ever made, brilliantly combining lightning-fast action with a story you actually care about. It completely swept the industry when it dropped, taking home a mountain of Game of the Year awards from the BAFTAs, the D.I.C.E. Awards, the Game Developers Choice Awards, and more. It even made history by becoming the first-ever video game to win a Hugo Award!
Here is the quick rundown of what it’s all about:
You play as Zagreus, the rebellious Prince of the Underworld, on a relentless quest to hack and slash your way out of your father’s domain to reach the surface. Every time you die, you start back at the beginning—but it never feels like a punishment. Instead, you get to talk to an amazing cast of fully-voiced Greek gods, unlock awesome permanent upgrades, and mix and match divine blessings (boons) to create ridiculously overpowered combat builds.
Best of all? It is currently available on both Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, making it incredibly easy for everyone to pick up and play before we meet!
Meetup Details
When: Sunday, August 23rd @ 2:00 PM
Where: Soggy Bottom Brewery
The Vibe: If the taproom is packed inside, we’ll be setting up shop in their shaded outdoor fan area. It can still get a bit warm out there, so make sure to dress cool and comfortable! BBQ should be available to purchase next door to bring right over.
Get ready to escape hell, die a lot, and have a blast doing it. Can't wait to see you all there and hear about your favorite weapon builds!
