VDSG Data Science Café Vol. VI @ ImpactHub

Dear community, dear newcomers and everyone who participated in any capacity in the DS Café until now:
We are delighted to announce the 6th Data Science Café! As announced, we are going to visit a new location, namely the ImpactHub, which is the epicenter of social enterpreneurship in Vienna!

Since we would visit them, several of their members may join us in this volume to discuss ideas regarding how to create more impact with an appropriate usage of their data. The perfect preamble for the upcoming initiatives Data4Good.

At this point we usually recap the last event, however, after conducting 5 consecutive Café's, we'd like to take a step back and ask you where the DS Café should be heading.

After all, we always preach that "we provide the framework - you bring it to life" and we actually mean it!
Whether it's a short- or long-term goal, a vision or just small tweak: Let us know what you'd like to see in the upcoming DS Cafés. Ideally you'll just leave a comment so that anyone can pitch in!

So, what else is happening? You might know the keep-current project but there are more :) The beer-aficionados gathered and evaluated data, Mykola showed a self-made tool to calculate the fair price of a car and Bernhard started analyzing the Austrian Data Science vacancies. This team already have a beta version at: http://www.datainsight.at/dsjobs/ and in this volume they want to describe the architecture, the lda model and show how people can access the database.

In short: Things are getting done and if you want to join any of them: Awesome!

Everyone is welcome to come and share your own ideas with the community or simply explore for a while until you decide in which kind of project you want to be involved (you don't have to be, though. Just looking is fine :).

WHAT TO EXPECT
As always you can expect a relaxed environment with a significant number of peers to discuss Data Science and move to the implementation part. You can participate regardless of your experience in Data Science, just bring some enthusiasm, your computer and the willingness to talk to like-minded people around you.
