DAY TRIP BENEDICTINE ABBEY MELK - WORLD HERITAGE

Melk Abbey is a central part of Austria's contribution to the World Cultural Heritage. Since the 11th century there is continous tradition of benedictine monks living, working and praying at this place. The splendid baroque architecture contributed to the design of the 100 EUR bank note. You are invited to join us to this wonderful place!

You will have enough time for a relaxed visit of the historical rooms inside the abbey. We will also make a short walk in the wetlands of the Danube, so we can enjoy the wonderful nature there, but also have a great view on the abbey from the Danube.
