WEDNESDAY BIRDWATCHING - BEE EATERS - BURGENLAND

Details
This Wednesday, we will have a special (and sensationel) program. We will meet at Wien Hauptbahnhof, 8.50am, to take a train to Burgenland. There, near Lake Neusiedl, we will visit a bee eater colony. These wonderful birds are of African origin, they belong to the most coloful birds in Central Europe.
Though it is a longer trip as usual, we will have not more than one hour to go by train. The colony is not far from the train station. The official end is 3pm (15:00), but there will be more details announced soon. There are trains which go back to Vienna regularly each hour. You can even return earlier, if necessary, but also stay longer. We will also have a look at birdlife and nature of the Pannonian vegetation zone near the Lake.
Please wear sturdy boots, and outdoor clothes!
We will visit biosphere reserves. RESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR is highly suggested. We will UNCONDITIONALLY obey all rules which are given by the Austrian authorities!
This activity is non-commercial and unguided. It's a group activity of people who spend freetime together. The organizers are not responsible in any way for the participants or their equipment. Everyone bears their own responsibility!
