Sports Meetup Vienna

-Indoor Functional Training (All Levels) followed by Brunch!-

Come for the sweat, stay for the nourish & chill! Once a month, on the first Saturday of the month, we combine our awesome, fun workout with some brunching! In the winter, we are graciously hosted by Superbude Wien Prater.

After our fun functional training, we'll drift over to Café Brenner (also part of Superbude), find a spot to chill and enjoy the awesome location a bit longer. A nice chance to connect with the other lovely people that worked out with us and eat a little. They have all day breakfast!!!

There is no obligation to stay after the workout, but of course, you are very welcome to!

As always at My Pace, we'll bring our unique blend of playful and mindful elements to give you your fundamentally different functional training! If this is your first My Pace workout, expect HIIT, strength training with your own bodyweight and absolutely no seriousness!

A reminder for those nervous about their fitness level: Everything we do, we do with all fitness levels in mind; so the exercises are always adjustable to your level and you’re always strongly encouraged to take it at your own pace!

• We meet and train in the event location of the Superbude Hotel called Transponder (if you are standing in front of the main entrance of the hotel, before going in, look to your right and we'll be the next door down)

• We highly recommend bringing a water bottle! A mat/towel to lie on is also very good to have!
• Please, please don't be late - the warm up is possibly the most important part of the workout! Plus it's kind of disrespectful to everyone else joining!

How we play?
Players with any kind of Padel experience are welcome.

Players with intermediate/Starter++ experience can also participate in the intermediate or higher event, which is happening in parallel:

Price

• 17-20 € for 2 hours depending on number of players
• I use the money to cover the costs for the court, balls and rackets.
• You can pay via Revolut, PayPal, instant Bank Transfer or Cash. I prefer transfer over cash.

Equipment

• I provide balls (usually Bullpadel Next)
• If you need a racket, you can rent it from me for 2 € (limited number available). You can also rent a racket from the venue for 4 €

Cancellation

• Please cancel at least 10h before the event, to give people on the wait list the chance to jump in. Otherwise a late cancellation fee of 10 € must be paid.
• Cancel at least 26h before the event in case the wait list is empty. Otherwise a late cancellation fee will be charged
• Late Cancellation fees will be donated to Médecins Sans Frontières (Ärzte ohne Grenzen).
• I understand that sometimes unexpected things can come up. However, not showing up and failing to let me know is considered disrespectful and goes against the community spirit. People doing uncommented no-shows have to pay the full event fee.

Important

• Playing competitive is allowed (Smashing balls, hitting balls close to opponent player etc.)
• We still value fair play and sportsmanship.
• Having fun together is way more important as winning.

Other information

• We are respectful and warm with each other. Our cultural and professional background is diverse
• The host or regular players can ask misbehaving players to step out from the court
• The venue has changing rooms and showers free of charge (for the lockers you have to bring your own padlock)
