Sports Meetup Vienna

Der 1. Wiener Pickleball Verein veranstaltet ein wöchentliches Open Play - für alle Spielstärken. Die Ideale Gelegenheit, Pickleball auszuprobieren oder einfach mit Gleichgesinnten zu spielen. Schläger (sogenannte Paddles) und Bälle werden bereitgestellt.
Gespielt wird auf einem Tennis-Hardcourt, auf dem 4 Pickleball-Felder eingezeichnet wurden.

Indoor Volleyball

We play 3 hours. Usually 6vs6 + player from each side that changes while rotating. First 30 minutes is warm-up and practice, then we play.
Number of courts: 1.
Price: 13 euros (aprox), we need minim 12 players, max 14 players.
We use the money to cover courts price and small organization expenses (coffee, bolt, guests, last minute )

Level: intermediate and higher. Intermediate means that you have experience playing indoor volleyball and you can pass the ball correctly.

IMPORTANT: when you come to the school and someone asks you “where are you from”, please answer “from sportunion transdanubien”.

LOCATION: go Inside the school, on the left side you will see stairs. Go downstairs, follow the signes “turnsaal 1”

Hosts & regular players reserve their right to ask people out of the game/event in order to keep good vibes on the court.

Cancelation time: 1 day before.
In case of last minute cancelation, please: find a replacement, anounce ASAP and contribute to covering court/courts price. Otherwise, if you do not come without notice - you will be blocked from other games.

  If you don't intent to play 3h or arrive late, announce the duration & arrival in the event comments, so hosts can update number of courts & players.
  Otherwise you will pay the entire amount.

• Setup (subject to the level and number of participants)
• 10:00 4vs4, 3vs3
• 11:00 2vs2 short games (6 players/court) ;3vs3, 4vs4
• 12:00 everyone back to 4vs4

We have by default

• 2 courts from 10:00

• 3 courts from 11:00-12:00

• 1 court from 12:00 ( as in the last summer habit)

• Priority on the waiting list: abo contributors & regular players

• we are warm & friendly; our cultural and professional backgrounds are diverse.

• hosts & regular players will ask you to step out from the court or change team(in case of disrespectful, misfits or aggressive behavior)

• we are rotating players in teams, so staying with your partner all the time is not encouraged.

In case you are out because of full booking, just join the waiting list and send a message... Host could try to increase courts number to accept more players.

Please remove your participation before 11:00 pm of Friday if you're not able to come anymore: if you forget to tell the host, you won't have another chance to attend.
