What we're about

Vilnius PHP - it's open community for PHP programming language developers, based in Vilnius, Lithuania. We are sharing our knowledge and experience and also having fun discussions.

Engineers are gathering every first Thursday of the month to share their experiences and chat about latest technologies like Symfony and Laravel frameworks, TDD, DDD, Event Sourcing and so on.

Usually we have some presentations in official part and then we are all going to the bar to continue discussion.

If you're PHP developer or interested PHP as programming language - you definitely should join our group! Programmers of all levels, despite their experience are welcome.

If you want to talk - drop an email: info [ at ] vilniusphp [dot ] lt

Every first Thursday of the month is the Vilnius PHP meetup time! We kept meeting for every month for more than 8 years already, no matter what. speakers: - name: Valerij Vasilčenko title: "Code Sherlock. Profiling PHP" description: | When there are performance issues, how do you find out what’s wrong? It’s good when you know in advance what to look for, but what if you don't? One of the solutions we employ at HomeToGo is code profiling. It helps us to find performance issues and improve our code. During my session at the VilniusPHP meetup, we’ll review the best tools available for code profiling in PHP. Some of them help identify a starting point, while others dig deeper into a single method. We’ll also try a proactive profiling technique that helps identify problematic commits faster. - name: Nerijus Žutautas title: "Hello PHP8!"
