Watch a classic comedy film, plus have a great Chinese buffet dinner!

Great News everyone!!!!! I spoke to the new owners of what was previously the New Peking buffet restaurant, and they agreed to allow us to continue using their back room for movie nights. It is now called the City Buffet, and it has a great selection of food. So we are again up and running with our portion of the meetup group.

Please join us on Wednesday, January 24th, for a special evening of food and entertainment.

Up first (at 6:00 PM) is an episode of the highly amusing comedy / mystery series, MR. AND MRS. MURDER, an Australian series featuring a married couple who's business involves cleaning up messy crime scenes. They decide it would be more fun to solve the actual crimes themselves.

Our main feature, at approximately 7:00 PM, is the classic 1938 RKO romantic comedy film, VIVACIOUS LADY, which starred Ginger Rogers, James Stewart and Charles Coburn. The movie was directed by George Stevens -- who also directed Swing Time, Gunga Din, Shane and many other beloved films.

A young college professor (Stewart) meets, falls in love with, and marries a show girl (Rogers) after a whirlwind romance. However, when he arrives back home, he can't find the courage to tell his ultra-conservative and very disfunctional family about the wedding and his new bride.

Once again, the restaurant is now called; the CITY BUFFET.

There is a private room at the back of the restaurant, so we won't be disturbed by other diners. We will have short breaks throughout the evening, so attendees can restock their plates.

The restaurant is located at: 100 Live Oaks Blvd Casselberry, FL 32707….. near the intersection of 436 and 17-92.

In addition to the films and food, there may be other surprises, including trivia contests and free prizes. There is no charge for the movies, you just pay for your dinner. I hope you can make it!
