The Group is a free peer-facilitated grief support group to share our experiences, chat and help each other thru our own individual grief journeys and experiences in a welcoming, no-judgemental & non-religious group friendly setting. We are not mental health professionals, but just people navigating our own grief journeys, and looking to just be present for others grieving like ourselves.
Our meetings are currently via the free Zoom video, and as social distancing restrictions are eased - we hope to have small in person gatherings.
Even if you have not used Zoom Video before, we will provide links to simple short "How To Use" zoom YouTube videos for non-technical folks - on each event listing so you can review and practice prior to your meeting.
This is not a group to provide any type of advice, but a group to share, listen and just be there for ourselves and our neighbors in a relaxed virtual setting.
All are welcome and we strongly appreciate the importance of diversity; including differences in age, sex, race, ethnicity, range of abilities, sexual orientation, gender identity, financial means, education and political perspective.
Some Groups will be in English and others in Spanish, when you are signing up for your group time, please make sure to double check.
The suggestion to create this group came from virtual volunteers at MyGriefAngels.org and the Group's COVID19 Dedicated Grief Support Site
