What we’re about

Welcome! This group is facilitated by a licensed psychotherapist and is a safe and confidential space to practice mindfulness through writing. This group runs virtually once a week for approximately one hour- give or take with the number of participants. A different writing piece or prompt is read at the beginning of the group and participants will then “give it 5”minutes of free-associating writing (non-stop writing whatever comes to mind without editing). Each person reads allowed what they wrote at the end while we practice non-judgment and compassion for whatever may arise. We may laugh, we may cry, we may gain deeper insights into ourselves and our lives. The little “gems” that come from this kind of group exercise are powerful!
