What we’re about
Welcome to the Yoga & Mindfulness group here on Meetup! In this group we value real human connection made through the useful online tools we have today. There will be various weekly opportunities to connect virtually including guided vinyasa yoga flows, journaling and manifestation time, and space to let deep conversation flourish. I look forward to spending time with each and every one of you <3

I invite you to join us for a virtual morning flow! This will be a vinyasa style class and vinyasa simply means linking breath with movement. Some previous yoga experience may be helpful but even if you're a complete beginner, I encourage you to give it a go and try something new! Throughout class you will find movements to stretch and strengthen and opportunities to connect with breath and intention. This is a free event however there is an option to make a financial contribution to this group, all of that support will go towards paying off my yoga teacher training tuition, if you have given to that fund I am eternally grateful for your generosity!
I will lead class mostly with verbal cueing, if you would like visual demonstration please let me know before class.
My name is Jeanna and I will be leading the flow! I am currently still in the process of completing my 200hr RYT program and will be graduating in the beginning of June! There is an option to make a financial contribution to this group, all of that money will go towards paying off my yoga teacher training tuition, if you have given to that fund I am eternally grateful for your generosity! Thank you for allowing me this space to show up as I am and to practice teaching, I am thankful for you!
We are here to practice together and support one another! I will be online before class begins and will be staying after to chat and connect. Sometimes a home practice can feel isolated but you are not alone, this community is here to hold you up!
Before taking class, if you have any injuries or conditions that effect your movement, make sure you are cleared by your health care team to take a vinyasa/power style yoga class.
Some things you might want to have for your practice are:
- A yoga mat
- A water bottle
- Yoga props (Not necessary but are very helpful to find more accessible alignment in your poses! You may invest in a set of blocks or a strap or bolster to support you in your home practice!)
- An open mind! This is probably the most important as an open mind and non-judgement will help you to explore yourself and your practice. As a teacher my goal is always to support you in the best way possible so please reach out if you have any questions or need help finding modifications for your practice.
This is YOUR time and YOUR practice, any cues I offer are simply suggestions, you are only ever meant to move your body in a way that feels good and safe to your unique structure! Yoga is all about how you feel, not how you look!
Disclaimer:
- All classes will be recorded and added to a virtual library! If you are interested in accessing the library of recorded classes, email me earthingsoulco@gmail.com
- When registering for the event you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own body and movement and will take precautions to not put your body in an unsafe position, and that if injury does occur your do not hold the instructor (Jeanna) responsible.
