What we’re about

This is a tuition-free online Introduction to Mindfulness series of four one-hour meetings, via Zoom, for self-identifying Filipinx/a/o (including mixed) folks. Together, we will cultivate a special community space in the intersection of Filipinx/a/o identity and mindfulness practices. Our intention is to gather as we support each other, heal, and walk the path of present moment awareness.

Classes offered here are led by a local San Diego County health and wellness educator, Gale Gibbons, HHP. She leads embodied movement and meditation at the college and corporate level. She also helps lead local and online mindfulness meditation communities. She is currently completing two trainings, Brown University's MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) and MMTCP (Mindfulness Meditation Teachers Certification Program) through UC Berkeley Good Science Center.

Zoom credentials will be distributed to registered participants.
