Victoria Latin Dance Association Socials and Classes

The Victoria Latin Dance Association (VLDA) is a welcoming non-profit community dedicated to growing and supporting Latin dance in Victoria through connection, culture, and unforgettable dance experiences. 💃🕺

This Meetup group will keep you updated on all of our upcoming classes, socials, workshops, performances, and community events throughout the year.

From June to August, we host FREE outdoor beginner-friendly Latin dance classes at Ship Point, along with our vibrant outdoor summer socials at Songhees Walkway Plaza. No partner or experience needed — just come dance, meet people, and enjoy the music under the summer sky.

From September to May, we bring the community together with energetic indoor SBK (Salsa, Bachata & Kizomba) socials, workshops, performances, and special events featuring local instructors, DJs, musicians, and artists.

Whether you’re taking your very first steps or have been dancing for years, VLDA is a fun, inclusive, and supportive community where friendships, confidence, and connection grow through dance.
