American Tune: the music of Simon, Croce & Taylor
Details
CSCer's,
Member Tom Glynn is touring through town with a show featuring the music of 3 artists whose music I literally leaned guitar to back in the day. I'm putting up his event info as a meeting in case any others may feel connected to the show he's performing or maybe just need a night away from the winter chill over a glass or two of wine. CW is an intimate and enjoyable venue. If you're going, feel free to note in here and let's catch up.

From Tom,
I'm a singer-songwriter in Nashville that performs at Bluebird Cafe and other spots. I know this isn't original music, but because you're all songwriters, I thought it might appeal to the group. I have a national touring show coming to Chicago for the first time on Thursday February 27 at City Winery.
The show is called American Tune: Simon, Croce & Taylor and pays tribute to the music of '70s era Paul Simon, Jim Croce & James Taylor, along with stories (some funny, some moving) about the songs and artists. I just returned from two sold out performances in Texas and Florida. I think it'd be a fun night out for the group.

Just to give you a sense of the vibe, here's a short video montage of the crowd and me at a recent City Winery Pittsburgh show:
