World Singing Day - Community Sing

Join us for a free afternoon of community singing in honor of World Singing Day!

Experience the joy of making music together through two welcoming, participatory singing events. No auditions, sheet music, or prior experience are required—just bring your voice and your curiosity.

Community Chorus (12:00–1:30 p.m.)
Learn uplifting songs and simple harmonies by ear in a fun, supportive environment. Together we'll sing, connect, and discover the wellbeing, joy, and sense of belonging that come from singing in community.

Circle Singing (2:00–3:30 p.m.)
Explore spontaneous vocal improvisation in a collaborative, judgment-free setting. Guided by songleader Roy Willey, this interactive experience draws on practices developed by Bobby McFerrin and Brazil's Música do Círculo, inviting participants to create music together in the moment through listening, play, and creativity.
