Welcome to VolleyBalls Deep in Tokyo!

🏐 Mixed level, but most players are around intermediate level.
The main goal is social sports. (You can probably guess by the name of our group...). If you're quite new to volleyball, please join our beginner events first. If you can do the basics and work well in a team, you're good to go! While our events tend to be quite competitive, we ask very serious or very competitive advanced players to be supportive and positive.
We started as Balls Deep (Table tennis and volleyball), but our balls communities need space to breath and room to grow, VolleyBalls Deep was born.
[Cancellation Policy]
Cancellations are accepted up to 24 hours before the event start time. Late cancellations and no-shows must cover their fee.

☆ Warm up games then 6 team round robin (from 10:00am)
☆ ¥1000 (give to organiser, not reception)
☆ Bring indoor shoes (non-marking)
☆ Knee pads also recommended
☆ Optional lunch nearby

But our volleyball events are fairly competitive and high energy. We'll mix into random teams roughly based on level. Positive vibes, support your team, avoid complaining, etc. Come for dinner/drinks after the game...! 💯

Our much more intense head coach (Jamie) will lead an intermediate-advanced level volleyball training session with technique work, team play, and competitive games.→ Level: Upper Intermediates/Advanced. For those that want to practice advanced concepts in an intense and competitive environment and participate in a team to compete in competitions. Advanced players and volleyball fanatics welcome - still supportive vibes but with more intensity to push each other to improve.
An advanced player is someone who:
- can perform to a consistent standard (over 80%) across all skills such as serving, receiving, spiking etc.
- knows their best position(s) and their place in a 5-1 rotation.
- wants to compete in a team and enjoys an intense training environment.
- understands volleyball culture and training etiquette to ensure safety and a competitive experience.
→ Format: 1 court, 3 hours, drills and game time at the end.
→ Drills: Main focus is developing team play by building a strong defence and efficient transition.
→ Facilities: Changing rooms and showers.
→ Event is held in English (Japanese support available)
→ Club/Event Fee: ¥2000
【When you arrive】
→Arrive on time to ensure training runs efficiently.

→Change your shoes before entering the gym.
→ Say 'kyo-gi-jou' (競技場) if the reception asks.
→Showers and changing rooms available (please don't use the pool changing rooms)【Bring】

The gym may refuse entry if you don't have indoor shoes.
