VolleyOC Volleyball Instruction with Ed Ratledge

This is a free trial where we'll teach you the basics of beach volleyball in a safe, fun environment. You'll get to know new people, and build a social, healthy hobby into your life that will keep you happy and healthy for years to come. Class rolls throughout the year and you can select our All-Class-Pass option to play multiple days per week to supercharge your development. A beginner class like this is where you should start if you are brand new or aren't comfortable playing doubles yet, though this Saturday class will have a court of doubles players as well since it's for beginners and intermediates.

We'll teach you every facet of beach volleyball in a safe, fun environment. We have lights and the class rolls throughout the year, with practices every week. You'll be joining an existing group, so don't worry if there aren't many rsvps for this particular session. Our intermediate and advanced classes are for players who can already play two on two, Beginners (non-doubles players) who haven't already been attending our classes are welcome at our Sunday morning beginner class. Our intermediate/Advanced class is strictly for 2-on-2 players. Most classes are personally led by 22-year AVP pro Ed Ratledge, and are designed to improve fundamentals and game strategy. Each class cconsists of an hour of drills and an hour of curated play, and the course features a rolling curriculum that allows people to begin and end at any time. Also- you'll be joining a group which is already enrolled in the weekly class, so don't worry if there aren't many RSVPs- class is on!
We recommend bringing a water bottle and wearing comfortable athletic attire.
