Gear Swap + Summer Social @ Washington Park

Join Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) for a Gear Swap and Summer Social at our main office in Washington Park on Thursday, August 7th from 5-7 PM. Whether you're clearing out your gear closet, are looking for gear to support your next adventure, or are curious to learn more about volunteering to support Colorado's public lands, this event is a a fun, easy way to connect.

Have gear to donate?
Drop it off ahead of time (optional!)

We’re collecting clean, gently used outdoor gear in advance of the event. Drop-offs are quick and easy, just swing by during any of the times below:

• Tuesday, July 30 | 9 AM – 7 PM
• Wednesday, July 31 | 11 AM – 1 PM
• Sunday, August 2 | 11 AM – 1 PM

We Accept:
Outdoor clothing (no socks or underwear unless new), footwear, jackets, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, daypacks, headlamps, trekking poles, gardening tools, snowshoes, microspikes/yak traks, and more.

We Don’t Accept:
Broken or dirty items, used helmets, water bottles, scratched sunglasses, empty fuel canisters, stoves, or large gear like bikes.

Come browse a selection of donated gear during VOC’s Summer Social! No direct trades required, just 'shop' and take what you need. Donations are welcome but not required (suggested: $5 per item)

Other fun activities include:

• A “patch station” for quick gear fixes
• Free popsicles & cookies
• Other fun giveaways
• Info stations to learn about how to care for Colorado's public lands
