About us
Attend arts performances * Explore regional history * Meet new people
Welcome to a fun new meetup! Using meetup.com is free, so if you come across requests for fees for joining, they are optional for upgraded accounts and you can simply ‘X’ out of them and still sign up for this group for free and attend our events.
If you like attending live theatre, symphony, ballet, art-related films, jazz, etc....
If you like exploring historical places in Volusia County and nearby....
If you want friends with whom to do these, this group is for you. Singles and couples -- all are are welcome.
Most performances will be in New Smyrna Beach, Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, and DeLand, although occasionally we'll go as far as Orlando for something wonderful.
Each person buys their own ticket to the posted activity -- often, tickets are still available next to or near each other. A word to the wise: get your ticket as soon as you decide to go, as many performances sell out.
While we're not a dining-out meetup, we will try to arrange an optional dinner together before or after performances. We may ask each person to contribute $2 for each activity you attend to help defray the Meetup.com cost.
