Come play a VR game in development and be a part of shaping its evolution. Game makers need feedback from players like you! For our in-person meetups, you do not need to have a VR headset of your own! Whether you're new to Virtual Reality or you basically live in the Oasis, your reactions and thoughts are welcome and valued.
For members who do own their own VR headsets, we have periodic virtual meetups in multi-player games like Walkabout Mini Golf. If you're a dev working on a multi-player project, we can give it a play test at one of these virtual meetups.
If you're a VR game dev yourself, you can share your work with other members and get plenty of useful feedback. Join us to schedule an in-person beta night.

Thursday, May 15th, 7 - 9:30pm, we are super excited to present our first event in Pasadena at Hawg Heaven BBQ & Gastro Pub located right in the heart of Old Town Pasadena. It's another VR Double Feature: ESCAPE SIMULATOR & BANJAX! Hawg Heaven has a full bar and serves up a menu of barbecue sandwiches, brisket and ribs, as well as Mexican and bar food options.
ESCAPE SIMULATOR isn't just a highly interactive VR escape room... it's one you can play with friends! You and two other players will combine your puzzle-solving skills, use hieroglyphs and archaeological tools to unlock the secrets of an Egyptian tomb and escape before time runs out! ...Or will you visit Edgewood Mansion? --only to find yourselves embroiled in a Victorian mystery, trapped in a room of antiquities and (you guessed it) puzzles! ...Or perhaps you'll find yourselves adrift in outer space, tasked with getting your malfunctioning spaceship back to working order! BANJAX
Resident VR game-in-development! Become a master of the Banjax, a magical flying disc that you'll send whizzing through the air to meet its target. Once, a dark wizard wove a fiendish spell to mesmerize and enslave all who came into contact with it. Travel the many worlds, and shatter artifacts of that curse with your Banjax. Befriend a creature named Ruellia, and fly on her back to other worlds where your skills of shattering will be put to the test.VR Double Features are free in-person events, showcasing one game in development that needs your play testing feedback, and one fully released game. There's always something new to enjoy!

Banjax has been in development for about three years, by David Barlia (that's me!) The feedback I've garnered from playtesting at these events has been invaluable in making a polished, fun experience. I invite other XR developers to present their projects--please, don't be shy!
